Music and Movement Workshops

 

Learn to use the Montessori Music Materials, including the Montessori Bells, rhythmic and pitch notation materials and basic music theory simply explained. Incorporating the leading approaches and philosophies that influence early childhood music and movement in education today classroom teachers have the opportunity to boost their confidence in teaching the Montessori music curriculum.

 

The workshop will provide participants with both lecture and practical experience. An integration of music, movement, rhythm, song, and drama is studied through many art forms. Maureen will offer a practical and sequential approach with step-by-step teaching methods for skill-based activities to benefit the 'whole' child.
