Sheri St. Amour is a teacher, musician and mother of three grown children. She began her musical journey at age 4, playing organ and taking piano accordion lessons. At age 7, she won first place at the Ontario Music Festival for solo accordion. At age 8, she began taking piano lessons and continued to play and perform, earning certification in both practical and theory from the Royal Canadian Conservatory. She enjoyed being a member of Windsor Optimist Youth Band during her teen years and began teaching piano at age 16.
Sheri is an Ontario Certified Teacher (O.C.T.) with both a Bachelor of Arts in English (1988) and Psychology (2002) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) as well as certification in French Language from Le Collège Boréal. She is thrilled to be among the distinguished educators at Montessori Mozarts and loves to share her passion for music with the young as well as the “young at heart”!
